I bought two plants here; a Venus fly trap glass half-terrarium and an arrangement in a monster truck planter. both were a bit on the pricey side but that's expected for hand-crafted plant arrangements in a floral shop.
the staff on this day was a lovely pair of ladies; one older, one younger, both pleasant as can be -- even boxed my plants up nicely and carried them to the car for me since I was carrying my sleepy toddler. healthy and vibrant plants and great customer service make for a 5 star florist.

I should have written this review long ago! The wedding florist, Erin, was incredible! She didn't question my decision to have foliage-only bouquets; she found a way to make them extraordinary. When she delivered them at my wedding, she found that I was struggling to get everything arranged on time, and immediately jumped in to help with the prep work.

She encouraged me to get dressed for the wedding while she continued working.

My wedding cake arrived, and it was really a mess. I was a little disappointed, but I wasn't going to let it ruin my day. She sweetly asked if I would mind if she added some fresh flowers to it. She then kind of baby-sat my preschool age niece. The two of them decorated my wedding cake together, and greatly improved the look of it. (None of this was part of the plan.)

I have to give Fred's Florist 5 stars because they really, really impressed me, and I would go back to them in a heartbeat. I went to them at 5:30pm on a Wednesday to get a last-minute bridal bouquet for 2:00pm on Thursday. On top of that, I wanted all purple flowers.The man who helped us said, "No problem."

The next day, we picked up an absolutely gorgeous bouquet with a unique ribbon wrap. I was very happy, and their prices are reasonable too.

Would definitely recommend!

This flower shop is the bomb! Around 9:30 this morning I called around to 3 different florists to get a delivery by 11:30 today. Fred's Flowers was the only place that said "no problem"!!! The flowers were delivered by 10:45 am!!!! I was sooo shocked and very happy! The flowers were for a manager who is leaving today at noon and her bday is tomorrow. The arrangement is BEAUTIFUL!!! The manager LOVES the flowers and said the arrangement made her day! Going forward, if myself or my team at Fremont Bank needs to order flowers it will be Fred's Flowers! BTW - Sheila was great! She provided EXCELLENT customer service. :D I would give 6 stars if I could!

Professional and accommodating with excellent product.

I have used Fred's Flowers for years. I grew up in the Bay Area, but moved out-of-state 20 years ago. Since then, they have been my "go to" florist any time I need to send flowers to friends and family in the Bay Area.

Flowers or plants always delivered on time. Quality flowers and plants that arrive in great shape. Helpful and courteous customer service over the phone.

Delighted that Fred's Flowers have kept old fashioned customer service and have remained a quality florist.

Awesome establishment. had exactly what my lady loves when I needed it (white and pink rose) and even STAYED AFTER THEY CLOSED to sell me a single $3 rose. enough said.
